41st Gravenstein Apple Fair Enjoy wholesome entertainment for the whole family at Sebastopol's Ragle Ranch Park. Over two glorious days in August, there will be live music, food, wine, beer, children's games and more. Learn about life on a farm or enter a boisterous eating contest. Attend chef demonstrations, DIY workshops, artisan cheese tastings, and of course be sure to sample some scrumptious Gravenstein apples. Unique crafts and artwork, from one-of-a-kind jewelry to Sonoma wine country photographs, will be available for purchase. So will a delicious, eclectic array of local foods like BBQ Smokehouse Bistro, Willie Bird Turkeys, Double 8 Dairy water buffalo gelato, and Grandma's Apple Fritters. Naturally, there will be apple pie, caramel apples, and more apple goodness. Grab a spot under the shade of an oak tree to savor your lunch. Live bands playing on two stages will provide entertainment each day. They include Cahoots, Tom Rigney & Flambeau, Love Choir, Front Country, and Bootleg Honeys. The Fair is sponsored by Sonoma County Farm Trails, and is a fundraiser to support local sustainable agriculture. Buy your tickets in advance and get a discount.
